We didn't go to Horeca Expo to pitch

EDITORIAL – As we wandered the aisles of the trade show, the Gondola Foodservice team gathered clear, consistent signals: the industry isn’t looking for new rhetoric, but for data-driven truth. That’s why we decided to crack the data puzzle.

"Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do," Steve Jobs once said, echoing the punchline of the Think Different campaign.

The Gondola Foodservice team headed to Horeca Expo in bright orange, carrying our now famous Rubik's cube, symbol of the GFS data model.

We didn't go to pitch. We went to listen.

To understand what keeps our (future) clients up at night.

To hear where the sector is stuck.

To uncover how we can unlock untapped opportunities together.

The answer is clear: Foodservice needs a single, reliable, consistent source of truth.

To start answering the basics: How big is my market? How does it evolve? What's my market share?

If we can't measure the sector, we can't transform it.

Some say what we are trying to achieve is impossible.

No great transformation ever started with pessimism.

Time and technology move fast.

Collaboration is the language of tomorrow.

Yes, the challenge is huge. But the industry wants to move and we will move together.

Because impossible only stays impossible

...until someone decides it won't be.

It's just the beginning. Join the movement.
