Ventuno, a Chaineux-based company specializing in Italian coffee and professional solutions that promote barista art, has acquired its regional counterpart, Recsi, based in Alleur.

This acquisition is a 'double shot' for Ventuno. By taking over the long-standing wholesaler Les Cafés Recsi (established in 1985), the younger specialist in premium coffee roasting and distribution now operates two production sites, each with a team of about ten employees.

"The goal of the acquisition is to pool skills and accelerate growth," explained Vincent Brossel, Marketing Director at Ventuno, to the local Liège media outlet Qu4tre. The company plans to use this synergy to both reinforce its market presence and optimize its range of products and services.

From sourcing to blending and packaging, Ventuno proudly highlights its team's expertise and the superior quality of its artisanally roasted Italian coffee across all stages.

"This acquisition represents a positive dynamic," the management stresses, assuring existing Recsi clients that they will benefit from a more diversified product offering and enhanced customer support.

With this consolidation, the Belgian family group Unibox, which oversees Ventuno (founded in 2021) alongside fifty other companies, clearly signals its ambition to become a key player in the professional coffee market in the Liège province and beyond.
