Solucious achieved a turnover of 330 million euros

With a jump in revenue of more than 20% in the last financial year, Colruyt's foodservice specialist is establishing itself as a growth driver for the group.

Solucious makes no secret of its ambitions and now claims the status of "one of the most dynamic and essential players in the market." Created in 2013 from the merger of Collivery and Foodinvest, the Colruyt division has since become a leading brand. The foodservice specialist delivers food products throughout Belgium to professionals, primarily in the hospitality, catering, and corporate food services sectors. "More than 20,000 customers choose Solucious for its ease of use, competitive and consistent pricing with quantity discounts," the company asserts.

For the 2024/25 financial year, Colruyt's foodservice business revenue increased by 21.6% to €332 million. These results were driven by both organic growth and acquisitions. This performance can be partly explained by the acquisition of Délidis, a leading Antwerp-based supplier of (ultra) fresh products for the Horeca sector, at the end of September 2024. This acquisition was part of the Hal-based distribution group's long-term strategy, recognizing significant potential in the B2B market. Excluding Délidis, growth driven by Solucious amounted to 15.9%, with an increase of approximately 10% in volume.

But Solucious is not simply adding brands together; the company is building an ecosystem. "The pooling of resources with Culinoa (2021), Valfrais (2024) and Délidis, each of which has its own specializations, is creating a very strong entity with great potential," says Solucious.

The company has already managed to gain new market share in a challenging environment. The Culinoa division has implemented new management software that allows institutional kitchens operating in the healthcare sector to become even more efficient. And, since its acquisition, Valfrais has continued its professionalization, with the refurbishment of its machinery and preparation processes.

Currently, Solucious serves the entire country from seven logistics centers. This hub-based approach allows them to be located close to their customers, which enhances the reliability of delivery times.
