In just two years, the Belgian concept that revisits the gyros is attracting more and more interest thanks to a blend of simplicity and... profitability. The franchisor Greek & Potatoes is multiplying its points of sale like hotcakes – Greek ones, of course.

"Behind every restaurant, there is a clear vision: to offer authentic, generous, and modern Greek cuisine in a convivial setting accessible to all," summarizes Michel Colpan, the brand creator who is reinventing fast food with artisanal products.
Under the Greek & Potatoes banner, whose first location opened in the Rive Gauche shopping center in Charleroi, there is a drive to modernize street food without compromising on quality. Directly imported products, "turnkey" recipes, and ordering kiosks programmed for upselling.
The signature gyros and other Hellenic flavors are clearly winning over an ever-wider audience, and the franchise is thus continuing its expansion across several cities in the country at a steady pace.
Already well-established in Wallonia (5 locations), from Binche to Liège, Greek & Potatoes also set up shop in December at Docks Brussels and will welcome its first customers in Flanders this Saturday, March 28, with a "grand opening" in Leuven.
"An innovative franchise opportunity"
"Join the team; it's a modern, unique, and profitable model," encourages Michel Colpan in a video for prospects who might wish to apply for this promising franchise.
Greek & Potatoes claims a relevant and efficient franchising model, with a selection of strategic, high-traffic locations to support visibility, footfall, and performance.
"If I had presented my file alone, I might not have had this type of opportunity in a shopping mall," testifies Laurent Fraschini, an early franchisee. He admits that "the franchisor's support is a significant added value and a major lever for this type of project."
Simplified management, notably with limited suppliers, and the optimized cost model are said to offer "rapid profitability and a measured return on investment."
The financial commitment for a Greek & Potatoes starts at 250,000 euros, with a personal contribution of 70,000 euros and an entry fee of 30,000 euros.
Other locations have already been announced in Tournai and Louvain-la-Neuve, pending the symbolic tenth inauguration.
